Good day and I am sorry that I have not been updating this as often as I should be. Too concerned with staying healthy and getting back into the routine of things am I? No, but it is time consuming.I am now riding the exercise bike fast and furiously a few time per week. In 30 minutes I am getting 8.7 miles covered, and typically I continue that for a second 30 minutes as a cooling down mechanism (That's one hour riding that results in about 17 miles.) Yesterday, though, I rode the Schwinn Airdyne exercise bicycle for 100 minutes (that's 1 hour and 40 minutes,) but I cooled down emmensely those last 20 minutes. Overall I covered 25.5 miles, and burnt 660 calories. That left me tired... but no pain no gain, right! I am instructed by doctors and medical professionals to not lift > 30 lbs., but my day will come when I can sign up at the YMCA again. I hear patience is a virtue? It is not often prevalent in me :-). Oh well... I've been active on Facebook, and trying to get my message out there. I have developed a group called, The Rest is Up to You, and I encourage you to join that group. I send out a motivational email, that includes at least one famous person's quote, about once a week o all members that joined prior to sent time of the email. There is upwards of about 600 people who receive email currently. I am always open to the idea of getting a service elsewhere, but funds are an issue and facebook is free. If you join or not please invite all of your friends to join also. I want to positively affect as many lives as possible.
