I am going to have to mow the lawn today. There was a little bit of frost today, and surely the grass will be soaking wet until about midday. I mowed last week when it was wet, but I think that will be a one time affair. It was not fun to get my feet wet while trimming the lawn.
Last night the Schroeder softball team started their season off ferociously, scoring three runs in the top half of the first inning, but they went cold and lost the game by one run (4-3.) The whole Schroeder clan came in support for the team, making a cheering section that puts other teams to shame. Likely it will be that way all year. The defensive showing for my relation's squad seemed impeccable. At least when compared to other years it was admirable.
I am hopeful that the Celtics will beat the Magic tonight, because Boston an Orlando, respectively have their series knotted at two games each. The winner of the best of seven games will face Cleveland in the Eastern conference finals, as the Cavs completed the sweep last night in their series against Atlanta. The NBA sure is not what it used to be. Larry Bird versus Magic Johnson was the epitome of rivalry.
