Today I mowed. Our yard could have waited until tomorrow to be cut, but I already have a full day of things to do tomorrow so getting it done today was good. Tomorrow I have a volunteer reception a the Knights of Columbus hall in Lima, and tomorrow is my volunteer day. Tomorrow night there is a Knights of Columbus meeting at St. Anthony's church basement which I will not attend, because I am going out with Gary after my volunteer shift ends. I think we are going to the Beer Barrel, and Luke may come too, because we will be celebrating our birthdays. It comes a day early for me, but it fits our schedules better that day.
I will be turning 30 years of age on my birthday, that is older, but I will never be as old as Amy! That is the most important thing! She does claim to be born in the mid 70's, but the only problem I have with that is many people were doped up and high on drugs then. I feel that her mom, Marie, was not a hippie on mary jane, but to fit this reasoning I'll say she was. If Amy was born in this time era she would have birth defects due to drug use, but she does not which leads me to believe she was born way before this era started! I initially had trouble determining whether she was older or younger than I when we met, but plastic surgery can do wonders for a person. Her relic stature was made evident to me when I once rode in the car with her (I had to scream for my life at least three times and we narrowly escaped a devastating car wreck:-). That experience showed me that she really is way old, and her youthful looks are clearly the case of plastic surgery. Someday I would like to use carbon 14 dating on her... like they do with dinosaur bones to estimate her actual age +- 50 years.
