It is Monday, and I used my YMCA membership, which I just recently renewed, this morning. If you are going to pay for a gym membership it may as well do you some good, right? Like when I go anywhere, my trips to the gym to workout also involve a lot of social time and networking. Today I started off playing Tom in billiards, and I am a wreck playing pool. I have a chance to have great fun attempting, and occasionally making crazy shots. I actually won a game today, but it was surrounded b two losses on both ends. I am starting to shoot pool much better than I used to, and my victory is the one that I will remember best. I am always seeking improvements in my game, and excitement fills me when I make unbelievable shots. I will never reach the quality of play that I would like to, probably, but it sure is fun to play billiards. After that I worked out, and guess what I happened to strike up a conversation with a former classmate of my sister. Going to the YMCA is definitely a social phenomenon for me, and afterward I grabbed a bite to eat. There I ran into (not literally) a person that I know from Grove. They live in Findlay now, and believe it or not I am not shy or reclusive when out or meeting new people. Haha t hat I am sure is no shocker.
Then at home this later afternoon we had an unusual event; we watched a movie called, “YES Man,” starring Jim Carey. Of course that meant that Dad an I thoroughly enjoyed it, but mother is not really fond of the slapstick humor that he uses.
Tonight I am going to write a letter to include in my 30 mailings of my speaking overview DVDs. Hopefully I can get some speeches lined up for next school year.
