5/22/2009

Speaking yesterday to sixth grade students was heartwarming, more so than I figured that it would be. The good times rolled after my three presentations were over, too. I swung by the Ohio State University’s Lima campus to visit with some former professors and faculty there. I have not been to my Alma mater campus in more than a year. It felt good to visit campus and friends again. All of the billiards practice that I have had with Brian paid dividends, as I went down to student activities, visited people, and shot pool. That is something I never did while a student. I was always too busy trying to get good grades in courses. Keep in mind that I was just having trouble getting to where I was going when I started college, and my accident recovery had not progressed enough then yet to allow much more than classes cross my mind. Indeed fun was had today, and my numerous losses when facing Brian really helped me, because I was undefeated in two games yesterday. Afterward I ate at Subway. Five… five dollar…five dollar foot long (like a commercial break!) Grilled chicken breast on wheat was had. And the help was fantastic.
