10/7/2008

I met some very interesting people in the cafe at the hospital today. I actually spoke with an author guy today by chance. He was having lunch with Walt, who is one member of hospital administration. I like to talk and Walt knows that, but I first asked Walt if it would be okay if I said a few words. He obliged, so I started to talk. It turns out that this guy, John, is a specialist in Custom Publishing and Content Marketing, and that plays well into my hands. Especially after I spoke with Holly this morning. She is going to be working on her thesis fairly hardcore until mid March, which is great, but that means helping me will take the backseat currently. She will start working with me in March. I am happy for that, because I do not want to interfere with her graduate program. Jennifer and Abbie (SP?) are two more people I met today. Life here at St. Rita's is awesome, because networking is something I love to do.
I also spoke via email with Mr. Wilson today, and he confirmed me as a speaker to Wayne Trace high school this spring time. I've got so much pulling in my favor right now, and it is great. Jennifer seems initially like the nicest person that I have ever met. Abbie is nearing Justin in her ability to prepare my sandwiches at the hospital... in the cafe. We'll see how she does next week, and just maybe if she keeps producing she'll reach that number one slot.
